Assistant Resident Engineer
 

Job Description

Requirements for Assistant Resident Engineer:

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering with minimum 2 years of relevant experience; or

• Higher diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering with minimum 5 years relevant experience.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Good communication skills

 Responsibilities:

• Check the works in compliance with the approved plans (or submitted plans for minor works), method statements, precautionary and protective measures.

• Monitor the work of the Registered Contractor’s TCPs.

• Maintain on site registers of all relevant site supervision plans together with all reports, documents and correspondence relating to the supervision plan.

• Deal with non-conformities by making referral to the AP/RSE’s Representative and notifying TCPs in other streams.

• Carrying out specific tasks as per checklist devised by the AP/RSE.

• Based in the HK Airport Site office.

Job Description

Requirements for Senior Civil Engineer:

  • Degree or above in Civil / Structural Engineering or related discipline
  • Corporate membership of relevant professional institution(s)
  • RPE qualification is preferred
  • Minimum 4-6 years’ working experience in building / Structural
  • Familiar with design guidelines, standards, code of practice, statutory regulation, submission and approval procedures to utilities and relevant authorities
  • Be adaptable and able to work independently coupled with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good communication skills

•Prepare routine reports and site records

Requirements:

Engineer/ Assistant Engineer (Building Services)
 

Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate and liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers for execution of the building services work
  • Carry out design, installation or maintenance of building services equipment and systems
  • Monitor the work schedule, progress and quality control of the projects
  • To attend design meetings, site meetings / inspections and all other meetings of relevant projects
  • Vetting drawings, method statements, risk assessment report and materials submission from contractors/supplier, payment submissions, completion of Final Account with minimum supervision

Requirements:
  • Degree or above in Building Services, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • 4 years’ working experience in building services, electrical and mechanical.
  • Familiar with design guidelines, standards, code of practice, statutory regulation, submission and approval procedures to utilities and relevant authorities
  • Experience from consultancy firm is preferred
  • Knowledge in Autodesk Revit or AutoCAD will be an advantage
    With certificate of Registered Electrical Worker (REW) A0 or above, or comply the academic requirements for REW A0 or above will be an advantage
  • Be adaptable and able to work independently coupled with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good communication skills
  • Candidate with less experience/qualification will be considered as Assistant Engineer.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome
